YouTube star Logan Paul claims his ongoing feud with Conor McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis took a sinister turn during a trip to New York.
Fight fans will remember ‘El Jefe’ as the man who Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped the Octagon to attack after beating ‘Notorious’ at UFC 229, subsequently starting a riot.
‘The Maverick’ and his brother Jake Paul have publicly been feuding with Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist and Bellator MMA fighter Danis [2-0] for some time now.
Until recently it was all harmless name calling and pranks, until it took a sinister turn on a trip to the Big Apple.
“He’s one of the best jiu-jitsu guys in the world," Paul said on Flagrant 2 podcast. "Actually, here in New York one time, because you know Dillon, me and Jake and all have been beefing for some time...
“We were at a party, this was when Dillon was on crutches, one of his boys pulled a gun on Mike [Majlak – Paul’s friend and podcast co-host]."
The Paul Brothers have been bickering with Danis since a fight between him and ‘The Problem Child’ fell through and Jake instead fought former MMA champion Ben Askren.
In December 2020, Danis was filming an episode of Food Truck Diaries with Brendan Schaub when Paul pulled up and called the 28-year-old ‘Conor McGregor’s little b*tch', before launching toilet paper and water balloons at him.
Danis hasn’t fought since 2019 after undergoing multiple knee surgeries that have unfortunately meant his MMA career has stagnated.

During his time away from the gym the SBG fighter has struggled to stay out of trouble and has taken some monumental public losses in the last year.
In September 2021, Danis was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at a bar in New Jersey.
A bad night got worse for Danis when footage of his arrest, that showed him being choked out by a security guard, began to circulate online.
Two months later, it was reported that Danis was kicked out of UFC 268 after being slapped by MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz, who works with the likes of Khabib, Kamaru Usman, Henry Cejudo and Justin Gaethje.
