Damn! On this morning’s View, Whoopi Goldberg was defending Jesse James (sort of) and Whoopi ended up admitting that when she was married, she got her swerve on with other dudes all the time. Whoopi told her peeps: “I screwed around while I was married. Yeah. I made those mistakes, too. It happens sometimes. It happens.” But Whoopi isn’t saying she’s all Team JJ, only that Jesse and Sandra might have had problems, and she’s not “excusing”. Whoopi said: “I’m not excusing. The View’s Hot Topics got especially heated when the subject of Jesse James’ alleged infidelities against wife Sandra Bullock came up…and the Oscar-winning hostess had his back, even going so far as to say she doesn’t think he’s a bonehead.
“It’s nobody’s fault. Maybe he was looking for something different,” Goldberg says, before dropping her boyfriend-on-the-side bombshell.
“Hey, listen, I did it five or six times,” she says. “Yes, I screwed around. Yes, while I was married. I made those mistakes, too, yeah. It happens sometimes. It happens…Maybe he wanted something wonderful in his life but couldn’t deal with it.”
But that’s not the only thing Whoopi has in common with Mr. Monster Garage.
“I have tattoos!” she declares.
“Not over your whole body,” Joy Behar interjects. “You’ve got one.”
“No, I have seven,” Whoopi confesses. When Joy asks where, she answers, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”

I know she’s crazy, but I actually like Whoopi for the most part, and I do think she has a valid point. Not that Jesse James isn’t a f-cking idiot who should have his head examined, but that although Jesse is an idiot, there probably were problems and strains in Jesse and Sandra’s marriage. It’s not always black-and-white. Plus, I liked Whoopi talking about the “five or six” times she screwed around, just because I just like to hear about a wife cheating on a husband occasionally, just because I think the media seems to go overboard when it’s the husband cheating on his wife. Infidelity goes both ways, and lots of women cheat too!
